 Launching of The Seed Savers

Our local staff in the Philippines has been working hard to launch the Seed Savers Farmers Group. Last month, 10 organic farmers gathered to complete their applications and receive the first round of organic seeds to launch this new program. The initial core group of farmers will be saving seeds and helping establish the community seed library in Tublay, Benguet over the course of the next year.

Out Building at ENCA Farm

Thanks to the generosity of many of you as donors, a new out building and seed storage facility is underway at ENCA Farm. Led by the design and talents of Yan-Yan Cosalan (pictured to the right), a soon-to-graduate engineering student, this building will ensure improved farmer efficiency by safely storing organic seeds produced at ENCA Farm.
