A belated Happy New Year to all! I want to thank all of my wonderful volunteers, supporters, fosters, donors, transporters, and friends for their support this past year. It was a tough one with very extensive vet bills. Although we were not able to start the new year debt free, we managed to keep going thanks to all of you. It seems when things seem to be the darkest that something positive always happens to keep us afloat. Thank you all for being here for us and giving us the strength to carry on.
A special thanks to those that were able to send a holiday donation or shop from our wish list. I know it is a hard time to spare anything extra for the pugs, but it is a hard time for us with pugs coming in right and left before Christmas. We so appreciate holiday help. We constantly update our Amazon Wish List and are always grateful for those who like to shop. May this year be the best year for all of you!!

Meet Buddy

Karlie Tipton, editor for Oklahoma Today, has written a heartwarming article about her foster pug Buddy. He is blind, but that doesn't stop him from finding a warm lap to sit in, his food, and his fur friend Achilles. His foster parents love him so much, but they know someone out there will give him a wonderful forever home. Buddy loves human attention and affection and gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. Buddy also loves kids and going to the dog park. He just wants to love on everyone, is potty trained and enjoys playing in a kiddie swimming pool. Buddy likes toys, car rides and life in general. Once you meet this boy, you will fall in love! Buddy is ready and eager to meet his new family.

Read Buddy's story (have tissues handy) and fill out the adoption application here. He is a fantastic pug and will make a wonderful addition to your family.

Pug Wranglers Needed for Photo Fundraiser

We are having a photo fundraiser on April 25th at A1 Pet Emporium in OKC, and we need volunteers to help us wrangle pugs. These events are so fun, and we want to make sure it goes smoothly. The more volunteers the better.  If you are interested, please contact Gail Tucker at homewardboundpugs@cox.net Thank you!
