The Holidays are upon us and I want to let you know
I am so very thankful to all of you for your efforts in helping to keep the rescue going. You are all appreciated so very much. There have been many times this year (and every year) that I have considered closing down due to lack of funds and volunteers, but then someone will send a donation or some items for the pugs, or someone volunteers to foster, and it gives me strength to carry on. I also appreciate all of those who have adopted our wonderful pugs. Thank you for opening your heart to give these special pugs a forever home.

I wish all of you the happiest of Holidays and pray that good things will come to each of you in the new year.

Pug hugs,

Gail Tucker

Thanks to everyone that came out to A1 Pet Emporium and supported us by having a holiday photo taken. We really had fun seeing our adopted pets and their families. We sold 33 photos, and several people donated food and supplies from our A1 wish list. Thank you for making our fundraiser a success! If you wish to, you can still drop by A1 Pet Emporium and donate food or other items for the pugs. Trisha will make sure your gift gets to Gail and the pugs.

Sadly, donations are down this year, yet we are taking in more pugs than ever. If you are able to open your hearts and wallet we could use monetary funds to help pay off this year's vet bills before we start racking up bills in 2015. Please consider making a donation today so that we don't have to turn away pugs in need, especially this time of year. You can donate through our website: http://www.homewardboundpugs.com and click on the Donate Online button, or you can go directly through PayPal and donate to homewardboundpugs@cox.net Please choose the Family and Friends option so we won't be charged a fee. For those of you who live out of town, or those who just love to shop for puggy presents, we have an Amazon Wish List with several things our pugs need. We continue to add things daily, so please check back often.

Belly Bands Still Available
Dewey modeling a Christmas Elf belly band

Thank you to those of you who have purchased belly bands during the holiday season. Right now we are short about 220 of our goal, so if you have been thinking of buying one, now is the time. All proceeds go directly to Homeward Bound. The belly bands are hand made and sized to order, so they fit perfectly. You can see all of the fabric patterns by friending  Anita Whyte Brenberger on Facebook and going into photos and the album Belly Band Material Patterns. She will also be making potty pants for females soon, so be on the lookout for those.

If you have any questions, you can email Anita at mamapug1959@yahoo.com
