As many of you know, we took in 21 pugs last month. All the mommas have given birth, so we now have ten more puggies to care for! In addition to the 21, in the month of January we rescued a little boy that had his leg broken three times (we found out later that he had been SEVERELY abused), we have another pregnant mommy, two nine week old puppies and six others. Bills are piling up again so we thought we would have an online auction to help pay some off. We can use donated items and of course participants.  Please Help Kobe Run and Play Again!
We recently received a phone call from this boy's former momma saying that he had broken his leg for the third time! Kobe is only six months old and in December was taken to the vet for a broken leg. The family couldn't afford the surgery to fix it but a month later he got another break in the same leg. He wasn't taken to the vet for another month and a pin was put in the leg to try and get it to heal. Another month went by and this time
Kobe had another break on the other back leg. He also had to be treated for a hemorrhage behind the eye. This is when he was surrendered to us. Once at our vet it was discovered that the leg with the pin is not healing right and will most likely need to be amputated or have a difficult surgery. The right leg will require surgery and we are praying hard that it can be fixed.
Our vet also noticed that Kobe had two or three broken ribs that are now healing. The eye hemorrhage was caused by being hit in the face. This baby boy has been brutally abused! The bills will be very high for his surgery and recovery, but we won't give up on him. Can you please help Kobe get to the point where he can run and play again? We promised him he would have a life filled with love and happiness. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated- even a few dollars can add up if all of our supporters donate. Our rescue recently took in 21 pugs and funds are very depleted. Kobe can't have surgery until we have enough money to pay for it. Please help if you can. He deserves the best life ever. Our goal is $3500 which may seem like a lot, but his surgeries, medication, and rehab will be very costly. |

I want to once again thank our wonderful supporters for sending monetary donations and supplies from our Amazon Wish list. You have no idea how much your support means to us. We took in 21 pugs from the breeder release and now have ten babies. Another pregnant momma is due in a couple of weeks, so even more puppies are on the way! Because of your kindness and generosity, each adult and baby will be sent their home with a "goodie" bag of supplies, toys, Nylabones, and hopefully a bed and blanket. We have deleted many items and added a few more to insure that all the pugs and babies get a great start in their forever homes. Pug people love to shop!!
