We had such a wonderful time at Rub a Dub
Race for Rescues. I think the pugs finally recovered from such an exciting day. Thanks so much To Trisha and her committee members and volunteers for putting on such an awesome event. It was well organized and there were so many fun things going on. We enjoyed talking with our supporters and meeting new friends. We look forward to seeing you at next year's event.

Next month we will be having a meet and greet:
July 27th at A1 Pet Emporium from Noon - 4pm
Most of our adoptable pugs will be there, so if you are thinking of adopting, now is a good time to get pre-approved.

October may seem like a long way off, but in pug time it is right around the corner!
We have 25 rooms secured at the LaQuinta Inn Airport location in OKC, located very close to the park. Rooms run about $60 for a double and the sooner you reserve a room, the better you chance of getting a courtyard room. Please reserve your room under "Puggerfest" at 405-942-0040 or speak directly with Joey of group reservations and ask for a downstairs room facing the courtyard.

Also, we are looking for silent auction items for Puggerfest. We will accept any new item. It does not have to be pug related. If you are interested in donating, please email Gail Tucker at homewardboundpugs@cox.net

Missy and O'Malley: Finding O'Malley's picture on the Facebook page it was love at first sight! I knew I wanted him and everything fell into place for he and I to be together. When we went down to okc to pick him up Missy found my mom. We already had Persey and Ruby, but we drove all that way for O'Malley and my mom could not leave Missy behind, so we took them both. Even with having a herd of dogs we could not be happier, and I don't think the dogs could either. O'Malley and Missy are eating up every minuet of attention, affection, and love they are receiving here. I'm so thankful for what you guys do and making it possible for all of us to find each other! I'm very happy to say that Missy and O'Malley have both found their forever home! Jessica Fosburg
