The traditional beauty of the Shelter Island Runabout belies her incredible performance capabilities. Known as "Billy Joel's Boat",
Shelter Island Runabouts are built to your order. Twin diesel engine packages are available ranging from 260 to 370 HP per engine. CH Marine has composed the perfect harmony between handsome styling, speed and comfort.
The cockpit is designed for each individual. Wrap around seating, folding captain chairs or center facing benches in the pilothouse are just some of the options. Port and starboard Stidd Admiral Series helm chairs. The interior bulkheads are white and are trimmed in native cherry joiner work with flush paneled doors.

 Shelter Island Nomad 30
This yacht is designed to provide a quick, stable platform for fishing, scuba diving, and family outings. The Nomad features a shoal draft, twin diesel inboard propulsion system and a unique opening transom. Nicknamed the "Tailgate," a large portion of the transom hinges down to become a swim platform providing easy on and off access for either an inflatable, mopeds, a wheelchair or divers. At anchor in your favorite harbor, you'll be watching sunsets at the water's edge with the tailgate down.
The dash is designed to accommodate an integrated color GPS/radar/chartplotter and fishfinder. Visibility from the helm is excellent when sitting in the ultra comfortable Stidd helm seat.
