Something new...
You will notice that we are beginning the new year with a new look for The Pathfinder. This version is easily readable on all your mobile devices as well as your home computer.  A fresh look, but still the same informative and engaging stories about our programs, staff, and students.  We hope you will enjoy it!

BEST WISHES FOR A BRIGHT NEW YEAR
FROM ALL OF US AT PATHWAYS!

MORE THAN 1800 PEOPLE CAME TO THE CONFERENCE IN BALTIMORE.
The Conference of the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) was an opportunity for Pathways staff to network, inform and encourage their colleagues, and learn.

PATHWAYS STAFF PRESENTED AT THE EVENT
Pathways' therapists, Paul Henry and Allison Palmatier, shared mindfulness strategies with a room full of participants.

The MANSEF Conference was a valuable opportunity for Pathways staff members to learn with and from special education professionals and peers.  Some volunteered throughout the day to make the event run smoothly.
Administrators Trudy Portewig and Cindy Sumner helped out with registration.

Dr. Carolyn Fink, Pathways' new board president and faculty member in the special education program at the University of Maryland College Park, presented on truancy and cultural diversity.
