Good luck to everyone who will be competing at the state competition in June!

Explorers Take Home Awards

The Delaware County Sheriff's Explorer's Club is not a DACC organization, but we find that many of our Law Enforcement students participate.

We would like to congratulate recent DACC graduate, Nick Ambrozich and current students, Hunter Frey and Jarrod Kidwell on their awards in Crisis Intervention and Traffic Crash Investigation.

Auto Students Place in Top 10 at State Competition

Congratulations to Jacob & Nick for claiming 7th place out of 800+ competitors at the Ford AAA Student Auto Skills Competition!

These students have been working very hard to earn their place at the state competition and we are very proud of them.

We also appreciate Honda Marysville for lending our Auto program a Ford Fiesta, the official car of the AAA Ford competition. They are a great supporter of our program.
Dominion Homes Career Fair

Dominion Homes and their partner vendors visited our north campus on Wednesday to speak with our students. These vendors are looking to hire internship, part-time, and full-time positions. We are already hearing reports that students are being invited in for formal interviews. What a great way to connect kids with careers!

The 2014 National Technical Honor Society students were honored on April 24th. In order to be considered for this honor, these students have maintained high academic grades, they solicited recommendations, and submitted essays. Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to the 2014 Career Passport Winners!

On May 2nd, six area students were awarded at the annual Delaware County Career Passport Recognition Breakfast. Each student receives a $250 cash award from their sponsoring organization and a plaque from the Delaware County Career Development Program.

Cameron Hood represented DACC and was sponsored by the Richwood Banking Company.

ECE Preschoolers Raise Money & Graduate

The Early Childhood Education Preschool students had two very busy weeks. On May 2nd, they raised $300 for St. Jude's Hospital through their Trike-A-Thon.

On May 9th, these same preschool students held their annual graduation ceremony.

Thank you to our high school student-teachers and our own DACC staff for helping to organize these great events!
