DACC Parents and Families -

We hope everyone is enjoying a much needed break in the weather. As we get closer to the end of the school year, exciting things continue to happen. Students are finding jobs, receiving college acceptance letters, and going off to national competitions. We are very proud of what our students have accomplished and are continuing to accomplish this year.

Below are a few upcoming events and important announcements.

Upcoming Events

May 1st
Acceptance Celebration

6 - 8pm

Current high school sophomores have been invited to the north and south campuses for an acceptance celebration. Some current DACC students may have been asked by their lab teachers to volunteer that night.

May 2nd
Power Line Rodeo
The only three high school Power Line programs in Ohio are squaring off for a day-long competition. This promises to be an action-packed day, putting our students' skills to the test. Local employers will also be in attendance to cheer these students on. We welcome any community members to come out and offer their support.

May 10th, 8am - 1pm
Plant Sale

Join us for the annual spring plant sale at DACC's North Campus, hosted by the DACC Landscape and Turf Management class. This is a great way to get a head start and save some money on this year's planting projects.

DACC Golf Outing - Support our Students

Every year, DACC hosts a golf outing to raise money for student scholarships and future levy funds. This money helps students get to college who would otherwise not have been able to afford tuition and will help us continue to offer career technical education to future students.

There are numerous ways to support DACC, even as simply as donating door prizes or purchasing a $20 raffle ticket. Raffle tickets will be drawn on May 1st and the winner will be awarded a free team of 4 to golf with us on June 20th at Millcreek Golf Club!

More information is available on our web site.
