The East Texas Aging & Disability Resource Center is an easy way to find services for older adults and persons with disabilities living in our region. We operate a call center Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and can be reached at 1-877-237-2268. To submit suggestions, articles, news releases, links or events to be considered for use in future issues, please send information to Kristin Barnhart at Kristin@ETXADRC.org at least 45 days prior to the event. |
Need a TTY?
In the past, persons who are Deaf communicated on the telephone by typing on a TTY (teletypewriter). Now most use videophone or texting devices. TTYs are becoming obsolete, but there might be a rare occasion for a business or individual to own one. Several have been donated to my office.
