The East Texas Aging & Disability Resource Center is an easy way to find services for older adults and persons with disabilities living in our region. We operate a call center Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and can be reached at 1-877-237-2268. Medicare Open Enrollment
The annual open enrollment for Medicare will be held October 15 through December 7. People with Medicare get a full seven weeks to compare plans and make decisions so that they will have new benefit information and membership cards in hand when their new coverage begins January 1, 2013. The open enrollment period is the ONLY time that changes can be made to Medicare plans. Bright Ideas for Success Conference

Community Care Clinic
Every First and Third Tuesday Night

Good Shepherd Medical Center and Iglesia Nueva Vida Church are partnering to provide prevention clinic services at NO CHARGE for the community, treating clients 18 years old and up. The Community Care Clinic will be located in the south entrance of Good Shepherd's Taylor Medical Center every first and third Tuesday night of every month. Services provided will include: physician visits, labs, preventative care for other conditions, treatment for high blood pressure, diabetes, and asthma.
