January: SAUW joins Instagram and revs up its social media presence.
February: A partnership with Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is continued, fundraising two nights each month for an SAUW partner organization.
March: SAUW participates in the second annual GSCF Match Madness, which brings in donations to increase the endowed fund.
April: 2013 community success story interviews begin with help from the 18 funded partner organizations of SAUW.
May: Amanda Michaelis begins as new Executive Director of the Salina Area United Way.
June: SAUW celebrates its first annual United Way Day of Action with 40+ volunteers reading to area school children.
July: SAUW offices are remodeled and celebrated with an Open House.
August: SAUW supports the online rally for education with Education Action Week August 19-23.
September: The BIG RED letters make their debut in Salina, KS and gear up to travel all over the community in the coming weeks.
October: Over 250 BIGGER TOGETHER t-shirts are worn around the Salina community during workplace campaign.
November: Workplace Campaign ends with over 130 participating businesses.
December: The brand new 100 DOCS Campaign is revealed.
