 Campaign Kick-off
This year's Campaign Kickoff took place on Friday, September 27 from 7-8AM at Webster Conference Center. Thank you to the many community members who were in attendance. Guests were treated to a breakfast, heard about Salina Area United Way plans from Executive Director Amanda Michaelis, and were told an inspiring success story by former drug addict-turned-college student, Ursula. Change for Change
You may have noticed the BIG RED letters outside of UMB this past Saturday, or in front of Webster Conference Center when we had our Kick-off Friday morning. We are borrowing these larger than life letters from the United Way of the Plains for the duration of our workplace campaign season. These letters will be at a different location around Salina every Friday throughout campaign. If you find them and post a picture of yourself with them on Facebook, we just might give you a cool reward! At the site of the letters we will have a t-shirt shaped box in which to collect 'Change for Change'. Any donation helps, so empty your pocket change and ask us how your gift can make a difference in the Salina Community!  Freddy's Dine Out & Donate
Even though agency nights are over, we still have three Freddy's Fundraiser nights left! During campaign season we will have one night spotlighting each of our three priority areas. On a Tuesday night from 5-8PM, 15% of proceeds will go towards the United Way Campaign in the designated area. Join us on October 8 for Education, October 22 for Income, and November 12 for Health. Whatever your passion is, we implore you to join us at Freddy's on 9th street in Salina. See you there!

This year the Salina Area United Way Campaign will be broken into three areas for focus during three separate times of the year: Workplace Campaign, Small Business Campaign, and Individual's Campaign.
