The 2013 Fall
Atlanta Home Show
Solterra provided the landscaping for the See-Thru House. With a special emphasis on utilizing outdoor spaces, we designed and installed an outdoor fireplace, an outdoor bar & grill station, a natural waterfall & pond, and outdoor seating.

Based on the response of visitors to the See-Thru House, there are many who have added these features to the dream book for their own backyard now!

Check out our new Solterra App!

We're keeping this month's newsletter short and sweet. The big news is our newly released Solterra App. Our free app is available for Apple and Android smart phones and tablets.

We also want to say thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Fall Atlanta Home Show. It was a lot of work, but really fun to let our creative juices flow!

Peter and Dixie

As always, we appreciate your support of Solterra Landscape and your confidence in us.

"Photo Send" a Prime Feature of Solterra Landscape's Newly Released Mobile App

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words in Identifying Landscape Challenges.

A key feature of the newly released Solterra mobile app includes a "Photo Send" option to allow clients to snap and send photos when they see a problem whether it's an irrigation line that has started to leak, a bug chewing the leaves from their favorite flowering shrub, or yellow spots on their lawn.

Unexpected problems in Atlanta landscapes range from too much or too little rain, damaging winds, temperature fluctuations, an assortment of pest problems, and plant disease caused from too hot, too cold, too wet, or too dry conditions. With Solterra Landscape's newly released mobile app, identifying a problem quickly means the solution is faster to implement.

Dixie Speck, Solterra Landscape's CEO and Lead Designer says, "Solterra's clients are busy Atlantans who enjoy the aesthetic and enhanced value a beautiful landscape adds to their home or business. Our Solterra app saves clients time by providing, at their fingertips, the direct contact information for key Solterra staff members--allowing them to quickly contact the specific person they need to answer a question or address a problem. The 'Photo Send' feature of the app can be used to identify a problem in a landscape or provide clarification to a phone conversation. When troubleshooting a problem it is often true that a picture is worth a thousand words."

With the app, Solterra maintenance clients can choose to get notifications of freeze warnings, rain delays, and more.

The app includes links to "Trusted Partners" (including Caldwell Tree Care) and "Our Favorite Things" (including the Atlanta Botanical Garden). A "Portfolio" of landscape photos provides inspiration for app users as they meander around their own outdoor spaces.

The Solterra Landscape app is free and designed for iPhone and Android smart phones and tablets.
