As many of you have heard our Mayor Rob Ford was recently diagnosed with cancer. During our debriefing meeting after this year's parade, the board of Festival of Praise and the Jesus in the City Committee Leaders prayed for the healing of our Mayor. The Word of God calls us to pray for those in authority. We are believing for a miracle.

We are grateful for Mayor Ford's fight and determination to get the 15th Annual Jesus in the City Parade to take place on September 6th. We were also pleased to have his presence at the parade this year and the opportunity to pray for him there.

We encourage churches and individuals to take time to pray for the Mayor and for the leadership of our great City of Toronto.
