Parade Info & Prep Meeting

Parade Prep & Info Meeting this Thursday, Aug 22, 2013 at 7pm 

PARADE PREPARATION & INFORMATION MEETING this Thursday, August 22 at 7pm at Canada Christian College located at 50 Gervais Drive. The meeting will cover general information on HOW TO BUILD YOUR FLOAT, PARADE GUIDELINES and more details about the Jesus in the City Parade on Saturday, September 7th. Please send a representative from your church, group or organization. Volunteers and JITC Team Leaders should also attend. Parade flyers and posters will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!

 

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO:

  1. Distribute parade flyers/posters & share parade information through social media networks 
  2. Marshall, assist Police Route Officers, Road Closure Officers & Queen's Park Security 
  3. Assist with costumes
  4. Construct and decorate floats 
  5. Help with set up and clean up of Queen's Park grounds 
  6. Pray for the hearts of people to be turned to Jesus and for our city to be transformed

10,000 Youth in Front

10,000 Youth at the Front of the Parade   

At a recent Jesus in the City Prayer Gathering a pastor shared that he felt strongly in his spirit that we should start rallying over 10,000 youth to be at the front of the Jesus in the City Parade. We are asking youth leaders and pastors to encourage their youth to come out strong and show forth His praise on the streets of Toronto. 2013 T-shirts

Organizations can order T-shirts with their logo on the front and the Jesus in the City Parade 2013 design on the back. Colors include: red, orange, blue, green, purple, black, brown, burgundy and more. Children and adult sizes range from small to 3XL. A minimum order of 40 shirts must be made in order to get your logo on the front. T-shirts are $15 each if you order 70 shirts or more and $20 for orders less than 70.
