2013 T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST  GUIDELINES & ENTRY
Festival of Praise and the Jesus in the City Parade Committee would like your help in designing the 2013 Parade T-shirt. The design can express any aspect of the Jesus in the City Parade. All ages can enter and there is no limit to the number of designs an individual can submit. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 11:00 pm on JUNE 14, 2013 to info@jesusinthecity.com. An entry is only considered complete when the information requested below has been submitted and the artwork has been e-mailed.

DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS:
- Theme Ideas: Jesus in the City Parade / Celebration / Worship on the Streets / Downtown Festival / Floats / People
- Image size: minimum 10" x 13" to be placed on the back on the T-shirt
- Art Medium: Any two-dimensional (2-D) medium -painting, sketch, graphic design, mixed media, etc.
- File type: JPEG, PNG, PDF, PSD
- File resolution: 200 - 300 dpi
- File name: Entrant's " Surname, First name"
NOTE:
If you are selected as a potential winner, you must be able to provide a higher-resolution file and a black and white version of the design.
SELECTION OF WINNERS:
The winner will win $100 and their design will be featured on the Jesus in the City Parade T-Shirts and other promotional items. The winners will be chosen by a committee of Festival volunteers and board members. The decision of the judges is final. The winner will be notified by e-mail, phone and mail and will be required to sign a release form within fourteen (14) days of receipt; failure to do so upon request will result in forfeiture of the prize. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or if the release form is not timely received or is incomplete or modified, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from remaining entries.
RELEASE:
By participating in the competition, each entrant releases and holds harmless Festival of Praise International, its officers, directors, employees and representatives from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, claim, injury, cost or expense whatsoever which may occur as a result of participating in the competition.
CONDITIONS:
By entering the competition, the entrant acknowledges and agrees that the entry design and all other entry materials will become the property of Festival of Praise International and the Jesus in the City Parade. By participating in the competition the entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these official rules and the decision of Festival of Praise International which shall be final and binding in all respects.
By submitting the entry form and design the entrant warrants to Festival of Praise International that it owns the original artwork; has permission to submit the artwork; that it has not been previously published and does not incorporate or include any trademarks, logos, copyrighted material, or any other intellectual property belonging to any third party. Each entrant acknowledges that the purpose of this competition is to promote the Jesus in the City Parade and sales of t-shirts or other items at Festival of Praise events or on websites or sales channels. Each Entrant understands that he or she will not be entitled to any proceeds from the sale of any such t-shirts or items or any other compensation for the use of his or her design in any manner by Festival of Praise International or its designees.
By entering the competition, each entrant grants to Festival of Praise International the worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, transferable right to, and to authorize others to, copy, distribute, edit, modify, publish, display, use, and otherwise utilize the entrant's design and other entry materials in any way and in any and all media or devices now or hereafter known for advertising, promotional, marketing, trade, and other purposes as Festival of Praise International may determine in its sole discretion without further consideration to the entrant. Festival of Praise International shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, composite, scan, duplicate, or alter the entry design for any purpose which it deems necessary or desirable, without the need for any further compensation and/or permission. Festival of Praise International shall have no obligation (express or implied) to use any entry design or to otherwise exploit any Entry Design or, if commenced, to continue the distribution or exploitation thereof, and may at any time abandon the use of the design for any reason, with or without legal justification or excuse, and entrants shall not be entitled to any damages or other relief by reason thereof.
BY ENTERING THE PARADE T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND DECISIONS OF FESTIVAL OF PRAISE INTERNATIONAL. NO PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
