An annual survey shows that NEXT companies created 221 new full-time jobs in SC last year, bringing their total full-time employment to 913. The total payrolls of entrepreneurial ventures grew significantly, exceeding $29.6 million. Read more.

Upstate Chamber Coalition Presidential Series featuring Gov. John Kasich

Governor John Kasich of Ohio will headline our second Presidential Series lunch on April 17th at the Spartanburg Marriott. Before being elected Governor of Ohio in 2010, Kasich served nine terms in Congress, where he balanced the federal budget for the first time since 1969. Registration begins at 11:30 am with lunch served at noon. Joe's Goes Blue for Autism
On April 2nd, Joe's Crab Shack will "light it up blue" in honor of World Autism Awareness Day. Dining lights will be replaced with blue bulbs and staff will show support in blue uniforms.
