"Leadership Greenville has been a life-changing experience for me. I have enjoyed every aspect of the program and have learned a great deal about the community I'm so passionate about. To grow professionally and personally, it is important to understand the opportunities and challenges that exist in our diverse and changing environment - this program is designed to offer this perspective! The relationships built with my classmates and LG alumni are invaluable!"

Meet Chamber Ambassador of the Month: Bryan Neill
What do you enjoy most about being a Chamber Ambassador?
The camaraderie among the Ambassadors is amazing and having the chance to welcome and shepherd new members into the Chamber community is extremely rewarding! On a personal note, being an Ambassador has enabled me to reach so many different individuals and businesses that have proven invaluable in helping me connect with my clients and be a better overall resource for the community.

How has being a Chamber investor enhanced your business?
Being a Chamber investor has helped me gain exposure to clients I would not have reached if not for the Chamber. The business before/after hours and small business events have helped me meet great friends, contacts and clients - and being active/putting myself out there at events has really energized my practice.

What is your favorite thing to do in Greenville?
Wow...hard to narrow it down. I am an avid golfer and the courses here are some of the best in the country. My wife and I have several favorite food spots - and if there is a Cincinnati Bengals football or Indiana University basketball game on, there's a good chance you'll find me at Carolina Ale House.
Have you been impressed by a small business lately?

BEST Tip of the Week: Even though modern thermostats are designed for long term use, they can develop problems quickly. One of the primary problems revolves around the issue of calibration. A correctly calibrated thermostat will accurately control the amount of hot or cold air being produced by the HVAC unit. If it is not calibrated, countless dollars in heating and cooling costs can be spent because of bad readings. For a few simple techniques to calibrate your thermostat and other ways to save money on your monthly utility costs, visiFurmanBEST.biz.
