Critical Information on Upstate Wages & Benefits Now Available
The Greenville Chamber and Upstate Employers Network conduct annual surveys of manufacturers and major employers regarding compensation and benefits. These surveys provide detailed information on more than 150 occupations employed by more than 130 employers in the region. Did you know that in the average office, printers and copiers use more energy while they are idling than while they are printing? Many times these large pieces of equipment are left ON 24 hours a day & 7 days a week. Ask employees to engage the energy saving buttons after they have completed using one of these central pieces of office equipment. Make sure that they are turned off when your office closes. Place a small sign on devices to tell users which button to use and mention this at staff meetings. This simple step saves energy, reduces the heat generated by machines, and cuts down office noise.
