Diversity Leadership Pipeline
As part of our efforts to support talented women and minorities in our community in achieving leadership positions in greater numbers, the Chamber has developed the Diversity Leadership Pipeline. Filters are a simple but important piece to consider in order to keep your Heating/Cooling system working at optimal levels. Did you know that, in many cases, Heating/Cooling systems are either over-filtered or under-filtered? Over-filtering occurs when a filter does not allow enough air to flow through the system, causing the compressor to work harder than usual in order create enough air flow. An easy way to determine if you are over-filtering is to listen to the air flow at your intake vents. If there is a slight whistling noise, you are most likely over-filtering. Under-filtering occurs when the filter is allowing too many particles to pass through your filter, which will eventually clog up your system and lead to a variety of inefficiencies. An easy way to determine if you are under-filtering your system is to hold a newspaper up to one side of the filter and try to read it through the other side.
