125 Years!
2013-2014 will be our 125th year of operation. In celebration, we are re-launching the official printed Greenville Chamber Business Directory. We hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity to further your support of the Chamber and promote your business to our membership, prospective members, area newcomers and more.
BEST Tip of the Week
A simple way to keep your HVAC operating costs in check is to increase or decrease the setting on your thermostat depending upon the season. Communicate thermostat settings with those working in the office. Encourage the wearing of comfortable, climate appropriate clothing, such as open-collars and short-sleeved shirts during warm weather; sweaters and coats during cool months. Recommended settings: Summer 75-78°(off hours 79-80°)/Winter 68-70°(off hours 65-66°)In the winter months, it is best to set or program your thermostat to 70° F or lower. Each degree above 70° can increase your heating costs by as much as 3-5%. After work hours, program or adjust the temperature to drop to 65-66°.Visit FurmanBEST.biz for more ways to take control of your utility costs.
