BEST Tip of the Week
Although the vast majority of water leaks occur at or near plumbing fixtures like showers, tubs, sinks and toilets, it is recommended that you test for hidden water leaks in your facility as well. There is a simple way to check if you suspect a leak in the water supply system-even if the pipes are hidden inside walls. First, ensure that all faucets are turned off. If you have drippy faucets or a toilet that runs between flushes, close the shutoff valves. Then go to your water meter and check the position of the "1-cubic-foot" dial.
