FEATURED BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

The Cozy Inn and Restaurant is one of our longest running and most trusted partners here at the radio station.  They have been advertising on AM1450 since we began our ownership in 2008.  They are sponsors of our most popular radio show, To The Point, one of the longest running radio shows in the region.

The Cozy is the oldest family owned restaurant in the state of Maryland. Cozy is proud to be one of the first restaurants enshrined in the Maryland Restaurant Association Hall of Honor as well as the National Restaurant Association Hall of Fame.  The Cozy is an historical legend here in central Maryland.  Family owned and operated since 1929.

Their award winning buffet, lounge and Inn are just the beginning of the Cozy experience.   Try their intimate fondue hideaway or bring your ladies group to the classic Cozy Tea room.  From their wine list to their special Inn suites everything about your visit will be unique.

It's getting very "cozy" in Thurmont.  You can find out why!

Thanks Cozy for supporting AM1450....

NEW SPRING PROGRAMMING!

Melinda's Garden Moments - weekdays morning and afternoon

Now that spring is approaching we welcome a new one minute gardening feature that runs periodically throughout each and every day that provides fascinating information and timely gardening tips to those of you who love gardening.

Dear Loyal Listener,

March is here and so begins meteorological spring.   The battle between winter and spring has begun and as we all know, the winner will be spring!  But winter hasn't given up yet as we are all gearing up for a possible major winter snowstorm mid-week.

Speaking of winners, high school basketball is in full swing and once again this year, we are headed towards the state championship tournaments, where our proud, county girls and boys basketball teams will represent the great winning sports traditions of our region.  Checkout our website to see which games we'll cover.

Don't forget, we set the clocks ahead this weekend!
