SEATING: Seating at the event is open, with no reserved seats. Please plan to arrive early for the best seating. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Ticket holders will be seated first. Any remaining seats will then be open to the general public a few moments before Dr. Boyle is introduced. It is the Consortium's goal to allow as many people to attend the event as possible up to the room's capacity. There will be an area for those waiting for seats without tickets.
SCHEDULE: Please pick up a free printed program for the event when you arrive. After a brief welcome and introduction, Dr. Boyle will give a presentation and then accept questions from the audience. Ushers will provide microphones for those who would like to ask a question.
BOOK SIGNING: The book signing will take place on the stage following Dr. Boyle's author talk and the question-and-answer session. Consortium representatives will direct audience members row-by-row onto the stage at their left and will exit to their right.

Please follow any other procedures that will be explained at the event for the book signing. Attendees may bring their own books to be signed, and books will be available for purchase on-site from the Newport News Barnes & Noble.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Audience members are not permitted to photograph or videotape the presentation. Members of the news media and Consortium representatives only may take photos.
ALSO AVAILABLE: On display will be information about the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium and an opportunity to make donations to allow the Consortium to continue to present free author events. Also graphic design work created by Thomas Nelson Community College students for the event will be on display.
