Northwest Arkansas Urban Radio sustainability survey
This year the Northwest Arkansas Council has worked hard to continue the progress our region has enjoyed over the last decade by implementing programs and increasing services through partnering with multiple community and corporate organizations. Over the last 12 months these partnerships have produced a regional campaign to reach students on the verge of leaving our schools, an online tool to help residents with some college credit complete their degree, a marketing campaign designed help businesses relocate to our area and the passage of a statewide tax that will help to alleviate infrastructure and transportation needs, just to name a few. With these actions and others firmly underway, the Northwest Arkansas Council has decided to engage in another initiative important to many residents in our region, the assessment of sustainable urban radio programming.
In order to gauge the interest of urban radio programming in our area, the Northwest Arkansas Council needs your help. Below you will find a copy to a brief online survey that will help to determine the level of interest for urban radio programming in our area. Please take a few moments to complete the survey and provide us with your insights.
The survey will remain open until Friday, December 21st. At that time we will collect the information provided and assess the current state of interest.

Your help in this endeavor will help us to continue to create a region that is great for business, great for life. |
Informational Meeting To Address Liquor Vote Changes
Thursday, December 6
6 p.m.
Riordan Hall
3 Riordan Dr.
Bella Vista, AR
Benton County residents voted earlier this month to allow retail alcohol sales in the county, which has some curious about the process involved in making the historically dry county wet.
Rick Crisman, director of education for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration, will be available at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, to answer those and other questions. The meeting will be at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive, Bella Vista.
Crisman will provide the highlights of what the change means to permit holders and Benton County residents and will also take questions from those in attendance.
The Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association has scheduled the meeting as a courtesy to its restaurant lessees and members. The meeting is open to the public.
