DID THIS CAR INSPIRE THE FIGARO?

Lacquer on Bonnet

Sunburn Marks Removal Process - It Worked!
|
Some of the lacquer on my bonnet is coming off - does anyone know how much I should pay to get it fixed and can I take it anywhere to get it fixed? Or should I take to a figgy specialist? I am in Surrey near Guildford if anyone can recommend it? Thanks!
Hi, the whole bonnet will need to be flatted back to a sound base and resprayed ,I would get a few quotes from smaller bodyshops in your area and look at some of their other work , you don't need a Figaro specialist for something like this .If it's a standard colour and you need the paint code let us know. Nick Here are the paint codes if you need them... Emerald Green - JK2 Pale Aqua - DH5 Topaz Mist -EH0 Lapis Grey -WK4 White, roof/polos/mirrors - WK3 Read more

Hope someone can help me. My car always starts first time, even after not being used for a couple of weeks. But recently, after I have taken a short trip and turned the engine off, when I get back in to start the car all the dashboard lights come on but the engine doesn't start! It sometimes works if I manually shift the gear into drive, but no idea why. Also, my CD player has suddenly stopped working too! I had the garage replace the bush at its last service, but still happens! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'd say it is almost the "won't start in park" bush, I'd suspect it probably was replaced or done properly by your garage, take a look yourself, or get a friend who is into cars to look, it'll be obvious to anyone who knows just the basics about cars. Where are you located? Regarding the CD, is it the original factory player you have in your car? Does the radio part still work?

I just wanted to share this with you guys. I asked a little while ago how I could remove these brown marks on the back on my rear seats. I was told they were sunburn marks from when they were in Japan and some told me to repaint the vinyl and someone else told me to use this stuff called 'traffic film remover' So I went and bought some on ebay, couldn't find any less than 5L, which was loads but not too expensive. It took a lot of elbow grease and a clean damp cloth but it soon started coming off! I still have a few bits to get off but look! It worked so well and no need to repaint either! So pleased :)
I always use traffic film remover when I'm doing the insides works a treat ,you can also de-sticky the interior trim panels with it ,great stuff. Nick

Unlike other car clubs we don't spend your money on employing pen pushers and administration staff such as a company secretary, treasurer, events co-coordinator, web-designer, marketing assistant etc... This is me in our little office where all the magic is created (well mostly magic anyway). Apart from Caroline (Caz) who does a fantastic job managing the forum everything is done by me!
The Figaro Owners Club was launched in March 2009 to provide comprehensive advice and information to both present and future owners.
So how did all this start? My son 'Daniel' had always wanted a Figaro having seen the car at his local garage when he was just 16. After saving for a number of years (plus a small contribution from his mum and dad!) he at last brought an emerald green model in May 2008. Following the purchase we searched on the internet for a club in the hope we could attend events with other owners. We were amazed that no club existed so the Figaro Owners Club was born! We decided to build a website and forum which took 6 months and on the 1st March 2009 we pressed the publish button and waited to see if anyone wanted to join? Within a week we had 10 members, a month 35 and a year 478. Today the club has almost 1,600 members worldwide and our website is used by over 45 countries!
Thanks to all our supporters and members for their support.
