The survey is available online at Paper surveys will also be mailed out shortly to businesses in Durham Region. The survey will run until March 31, 2016. triOS New Intern Program Seeking Community Support
triOS Oshawa is launching a new program and needs your help. In order to institute a new Accounting and Payroll Specialist program, triOS College must submit an application to the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) for program approval.  In order to achieve approval, triOS needs to prove that there would be community support in the greater Oshawa area to take internships. The "proof" lies in a non-committal form letter employers sign indicating their INTEREST in possible interns. The MTCU doesn't give triOS much turnaround time for this - deadline for submission is March 18th. The program is designed for students to be in the classroom for 34 weeks and then to participate in an 8 week mandatory (unpaid) internship. If you have an interest in hosting an intern in the future, please contact Stephanie McCrae, BA  Employment Specialist,  O. 905 435 9911 xt. 2042  C. 416 629 3082, triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Oshawa Campus.
