Are You Going to Be a WISHER or a DREAMER in 2014?
WISHER - Want Instant Stuff However Everyone (else) Receives (it)
DREAMER - Defines Remarkable Expected Access for Meaningful Extraordinary Results
I'm a DREAMER, which is not to be confused with a WISHER. Someone who wishes simply announces random thoughts hoping that maybe if God is listening, the desires of their little hearts will come to pass. Someone who dreams has random thoughts as well, but the thoughts are forced to hang around a while before moving to the next one. Dreamers own their thoughts and aren't afraid to close their eyes and envision themselves in the situation of success in whatever it is they are thinking about. That means focusing in minute detail whether it is 3am or 3pm. A dreamer will utilize every resource in their reach to figure out what they need to make things happen. Then they do the one thing that wishers do not...they execute! I attack my dreams with reckless abandonment changing from man to altered beast willing to scour the earth to get to where I'm trying to go. Before anyone thinks that level of attack means 100% success, understand that the first step may be falling right on your face in front of the very people who think you're wasting your time. Don't fall for that "failure is not an option" horse manure. Sometimes failure is the only way out but then you get back up again.
Dreamers Gain an Extraordinary Advantage
When I first became serious about my dreams, I would reluctantly take pictures of the items or situations I wanted seriously to see myself in until someone from Mary Kay observed my behavior and told me they are taught to do this. So much for thinking I was a weirdo. I thought it was amazing that once you photographed an image, your mind permanently stamped it to the wall of your brain and no matter what you do, your brain will not forget and eventually lead you to it.
The brain begins to highlight things that seemed so meaningless before using items to link you to your dreams. It wasn't just the homes and cars for me but also experiences such as starting an assignment and hoping to work near the CEO and finding that his son is in my group. It was having thoughts about flying on an Embraer Phenom 300 private jet, then finding myself on an assignment where the mode of transportation was private jet. At some point, you just have to accept that there are not enough coincidences in the world to explain these things happening over and over again. Some people define coincidence as God's way of remaining anonymous.

South Florida, here I come!
When you really get good at dreaming you can do it in color. Don't believe it's a big deal? Try looking at the clothes you have on. Observe the color and style. Now close your eyes and I'm willing to bet that you cannot see those same colors or styles until you reopen them. Dreaming takes intense focus and when you're serious about it things happen. Let the naysayers comment, "Keep dreaming". That's exactly the point because their thoughts are I'll believe it when I see it but that's bassakwards. You don't see extraordinary results until you believe them.
Great Dreamers and Miniscule Minds Don't Mix
Critical feedback is one thing, but holding someone back is something altogether different. I've encountered many people who I actually felt sorry for. There must be nothing worse than a person who has dreams and are trying everything within their power to execute but has a partner who blows out their every flame. If you are close with someone who is a dreamer, not a wisher but a dreamer, either ensure they have enough space to dream or keep your negative comments to yourself. Don't accept constructive criticism without options for success. Naturally sharing, the hardest pill for me to swallow was keeping bold dreams and even successes to myself. Sharing motivates and helps believers but it will also get your fired, make you lose important resources such as money and priceless time. Haters don't make you greater, they're just royal pains in the rear who don't realize their barriers become Evel Knievel prosperity ramps. I call them FAPHs, pronounced fapahs with three of the letters standing for Fake Player Hater. We'll remain seated on the "A".
Didn't Have the Best 2013? Hang in There for 2014
There are a lot of barriers to entry in 2014 just waiting to keep you away from your goals. Life beat the smithereens out of someone in 2013 and they probably felt they did everything in their power to make it right. Someone was in the eye of a financial tsunami that only seemed to rotate around them. The lists of obstacles are endless. I operate under what I call the H2D3 rule which is regardless of the situation, if you can keep 75% of your Head, Health, Dreams, Drive and Determination you can put the pieces back together and make it through. Notice, I didn't say the trouble won't last for an uncomfortable season. Life's seasons don't coincide with calendar seasons by the way, but thankfully all seasons eventually change.
So that's it my friends. Regardless of what happened in 2013, it's a wrap. It's gone and time to dream up a prosperous 2014. I like Puff's Been Around the World line, "I was in a one bedroom, dreaming of a million, Now I'm in beach houses, cream to the ceiling". Hey Puff, Palm Beach loves private jets and I'm dreaming of 40 million! Join the DREAM team. Let's work!
