Nanoline Contest 2016 Our Academic Magnet Autonomous Robotics team built an autonomous self monitoring aquaponics system that simultaneously grows plants and fish. They were one of the nine teams out of a total of 68 across the country to be selected to compete at the Nationals in Harrisburgh, PA, last weekend. Out of the nine teams that went to nationals, only six teams received an award and we were one of those six teams. Our team was recognized for Entrepeneurial Excellence in the national finals. They had been honored for engineering excellence at the regional level for their work with hydroponics and awarded a fully paid trip to the national finals in Pennsylvania.
