Principal Points: October
It is hard to believe that we are coming to the close of the First Term of the 2015-2016 school year. We have had a wonderful start to the year including a very successful Back to School Night, a memorable Spirit Week, which started with a "bubble dance," and a terrific Homecoming game. Following the days of rain and flooding, we are now looking forward to PSAT testing, Powder Puff Football and the International Dinner. Yes, AMHS is definitely on its way to another memorable year!!
There are other important dates on the horizon for us:
- October 14: PSAT Testing for Grades 9, 10, and 11; Senior Seminar for Grade 12
- October 17: International Dinner 6:00 PM
- October 26: Report Cards will come home with the students.
- October 28: Early Dismissal at 1:15 PM
- November 3: Election Day: Schools and Offices are closed.
As you can see, we are wonderfully busy and active. If there is any way in which we can help you or your student, please contact us. We want this school year to be especially memorable for every student and student-family.
