1.  We will give the teachers and staff gift cards again, but not from grocery stores this time.  Please send one $10 or $20 gift card to school in an envelope labeled Mrs. Linnie Duckett, Teacher Appreciation.  Please send these in by Friday, April 25th.   We are looking for restaurants, movies, yogurt, ice cream, coffee, gift stores, clothing stores, or anywhere you enjoy going (except grocery!).

 

2.  On Tuesday, Apr. 29, we will host a seated luncheon for our Teachers and Staff.  We usually provide foods made by parents, or purchased by parents from gourmet stores like Whole Foods, Everyday Gourmet, etc. (we'd like to avoid Costco, and grocery store products).  We need lots of food to feed over 60 folks!  Please let us know if you can provide donations of 15-20 small servings of one of these items:

Grain, bean, fruit, veggie, chicken, egg, vegan, tuna, green, etc. salads

Casseroles, smoked salmon, slice meats, main dishes of any sort

Fresh Bread, spreads, etc.

Hearty plastic utensils, nice napkins, gallon and quart Ziploc bags for leftovers

A few more desserts (we have chocolate cake, pound cake and chewy bars)

The luncheon is at noon and we will have a cart at the bus loop for drop off that morning, and one at the front desk. Items need to arrive BEFORE 11am (and can come in with students to Mrs. Duckett).
