Teacher Appreciation Gift Cards Needed; please send to school by November 12
|
For Thanksgiving, we'd like to give the teachers and staff a token of our gratitude for their hard work and dedication. The average cost of a Thanksgiving dinner has gone up again this year. If each family donates one or two grocery store gift cards, we could offset some of those costs for the fabulous folks who spend their days with our students. Please consider sending:
One or two $10 Grocery Store Gift Cards to AMHS in an envelope labeled Linnie Duckett, Teacher Appreciation Gift Cards (Ms Duckett's office is next to Ms. Peterson's).
Please send gift cards in increments of $10 so that they can be divided equally, and please send these as soon as possible or by Monday, November 12.
Thank you for your contribution.

Your opportunity to express your thoughts on the admissions process and help a senior with her thesis...
|
Parents,
My name is Caitlin Barth and I am a senior at Academic Magnet High School. For my senior thesis, I am conducting a study of Magnet's marketing strategies for recruiting students and how they can be improved to suit the audience. As part of my study, I would like to send out a survey to the parents of Academic Magnet High School students to gather your thoughts, impressions, and opinions from the admissions process. I promise that this survey will only take a couple of minutes, and it would be incredibly helpful to my thesis process. I appreciate your help. Please take the survey only once and answer all of the questions.
Caitlin Barth
AMHS Senior
Abstract This thesis studies the possible benefits of creating a structured, uniform program for marketing a magnet high school program to ensure its future success. The governing question is: "What marketing techniques can be applied to magnet high schools to improve diversity and quality of applicants?" This study will use a case study of Academic Magnet High School and use survey analysis to develop prototypes of print marketing for possible implementation in Academic Magnet High School and other magnet high school programs. The data collected from this study will be qualitative, intended to analyze opinions of students and parents. These results will be analyzed to assess the overall success of the current marketing program at Academic Magnet and provide implications as to how it can be approved upon.
