Welcome Buffy!

Elizabeth "Buffy" Knappenberger has assumed the position of Visitor Services and Museum Shop Manager, succeeding Susie Schran, who retired in January.

Buffy has worked at Belmont for over three years as Visitor Center desk attendant and docent, and concurrently worked at the James Monroe Museum and Kenmore/Ferry Farm. She is a former high school history teacher and has extensive retail experience. Her combination of talents will serve us well.

Be sure to cast your vote for favorite Belmont Portrayed painting.  The top four vote winners will receive cash prizes of $1,000, $750, $500, and $250.

Most of the exhibition's paintings are also for sale.  A price list is available in the studio and at the front desk.  What a great opportunity to bring a Belmont memory home with you!

Get engaged over the holidays? Belmont's rental facilities are a unique and intimate option for garden weddings, receptions, or rehearsal dinners.
