Help a Desert Mountain Family
Desert Mountain's PTO wishes to bring to your attention Karen West and her family. The family lost their daughter Quinn in a traffic accident in December 2012, and soon after, Karen was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma skin cancer. The family has exhausted their savings on medical help, and her husband has no remaining paid time off to care for her. Medical expenses and other needs continue to pile up. Karen doesn't have much time left.
Several events and opportunities have been planned to support the family, which also includes their senior daughter, Catherine. Please consider helping, and thank you.
The official photographer for the DMHS Yearbook is Cilento Photography. For inclusion in the yearbook, you must have your senior portrait (head shot) taken at their their studio. You also have the option to have a full studio session,
Senior Portraits (yearbook head shots) are FREE until SEPTEMBER 1st, and after that the cost will be $15. The final deadline for taking your Senior Portrait is October 1st. If you do not make this deadline, you will not be in the yearbook!
