A Note To Troop Leaders
  Many Hands Make Light Work

Welcome new and returning Troop Leaders! We can't WAIT to hear all the great things your troops are doing this year. Pathways is full of information and resources - everything you need to make the most of your Girl Scout Leadership Experience. If you know a friend who would make a great leader, please forward this on to them as well - many hands make light work!

Just a friendly reminder, for the safety of our girls, all adults helping at troop meetings, chaperoning trips/events, or working with troop funds are required to complete the volunteer application and background screening process. Part of this process is becoming a registered
Girl Scout. The annual fee is $15.00.

If approved in a volunteer position, parents will receive an approval letter via email. A copy of the approval letter should be given to the leader confirming the process has been completed with successful screening results.

At Preview, you talked and we listened. You asked for a council wide goal for SHARE  - one that everyone can work towards for the good of the girls.

Drum roll please!

Our council wide SHARE goal is $8,000

Some of you asked to be recognized for a job well done.

The top service units in three categories will be awarded a $50 gift certificate at the Friendship Celebration in February.

The 2013 Fall Product Program is buzzing along with BEE-autiful results awaiting all participating troops and girls.

To learn more about the Fall Product Program and how your troop can benefit, contact your Service Unit Fall Program Manager today!

Oops!

New Banking Procedures were included in the 2013 Troop Fall Product Managers Handbook. Please disregard these. For the 2013 Fall Product Program, troops will continue using the banking procedures that were used in the past.  Service Unit Fall Product Managers have complete details on the appropriate banking procedures troops are required to follow.

Reminder to all troops

Troops participating in product sale programs are required to have an active bank account. Information on opening a troop bank account is available on the council's website under Volunteer Resources.
