 Picture this.
You're shopping and come across an item that you really want and need. As you approach check-out, you reach for your wallet and remember you're still waiting for the bank to send you a new debit card, you don't have your checkbook and you promised yourself not to use the credit card this month. So you stay true to yourself, put the item back and make plans to buy it next month. Picture this. Alice brings home a flier asking her to join Girl Scouts. She is very excited because all her friends are Girl Scouts. Alice shows her mom the flier, but her mom knows that their family just doesn't have the money for her to join. In Alice's situation, there is no "next month." How can YOU help Alice? Make a gift to the SHARE family and volunteer giving campaign. Your SHARE gift will fund financial assistance for girls who are in need, and can help a girl like Alice become a Girl Scout for the first time in her life. A girl and her family are counting on you! |

Invite new girls and adults to the Girl Scout movement!
For Fall 2013 we are rolling out an exciting recruitment campaign for girls in grades K-5, that was designed for GSUSA based on information gleaned from talking to girls across the country. Through focus groups and interviews girls guided every step of the design process. You'll see ads in various family magazines and websites, our own website and social media outlets. You'll have resources you can use to share the fun on your own social media profiles as well.
Thank you for all of your work in inviting more girls than ever into Girl Scouting this recruitment season!

E-Biz Registration System Updates!
We all asked for improvements to GSUSA's "E-biz" online registration site, and they listened. A new and improved registration system will roll out August 15. But first, E-biz will be down starting August 9 so that the improvements can be put in place. After the August 15 re-launch, you'll notice the following upgrades:
Troop Leaders and Service Teams:
- Will be able to see all activities, regardless of the registration method, for your entire troop or troops
- Will be able to see all troop orders placed online
- Will have an easy to use interface that will prompt you to update troop meeting information
Families:
You'll be able to manage entries for your whole family with a single login!
- See all of your family's activities, regardless of registration method
- See all orders placed online on behalf of your family
- Manage membership renewals and new memberships for your whole family
- You'll enjoy an improved search functionality
Everyone:
For security purposes on your first visit, you will first be asked to create a new login and password. If you wish to use your previous one, you may, or take this opportunity to create a new one.
We hope these enhancements make managing your Girl Scout troops and registrations an easier and more enjoyable experience.
