Congratulations Row Boston!
New England Junior & High School Regional Championship Regatta

Congrats to our Row Boston athletes for a great showing this weekend at 7th Annual New England Junior & High School Regional Championship Regatta. The whole team had a great time racing and a big shout out specifically to Diego Rao and Royce Pease for taking first in their event. Remember it is the first week novices can come and try the team out, so if you know any kids in the Boston Public Schools who could benefit from a great team, tell them to register online:

Military Rowing Sweeps Team
CRI Program Spotlight

Our Military Rowing sweeps team is well into another strong fall season this year under the leadership of 2nd year coach Pat Larcom. A little over a month into the season, Pat is optimistic about the team achieving their mission of "creating connection between military veterans through improvement in the sport of rowing."

After competing at Masters Nationals for the first time this past August, the team is vitalized as they row into colder weather. The team has been racing an eight and a four this fall, an increase in numbers from previous years. Pat says he'll expect to see at least two eights by the spring. A member of one of those eights, Paul Farell, Navy veteran and 4th year CRI military sweeps team member, attributes the team's development and success to coach Pat.

"Pat's doing a great job with the program, he's organized and ready to go every morning. He sets strong expectations with his 'here's what we're going to do' attitude, " Paul says. Paul and the rest of his boat have their eyes set on their upcoming Senior Master eight entry at the Head of the Charles, followed by CRI's Headless Halloween Regatta and Veteran's Day row.

CRI's Military Rowing programs are free for all Military Service members, their spouses, and Gold Star Families. Each branch of the military is represented on CRI's Military Rowing teams.
