The US LTA 4 Returns with Silver Medal!
Go USA! Go CRI!

Coxswain Jenny Sichel, Dorian Weber, Zach Burns, Dani Hansen, Jaclyn Smith and coaches Ellen Minzner and Shelagh Donohoe are thrilled to be coming back from Rio with a silver medal, placing second behind Great Britain and holding off a late charge from Canada in the final strokes.  This is a HUGE milestone for US Para Rowing and for CRI, and we are all extremely proud of  their effort all summer long.  You can congratulate them in person when they return for the HOCR, and Jenny returns this week. Go USA! Go CRI!

Athlete Housing HOCR
HOCR Requesting Volunteers

It is that time of year again already. Entries are posted, and the HOCR office has a list of international rowers who need a place to stay. The current list involves several Olympians, including many medallists, as well as some coaches and some athletes not yet to Olympic standard.

Rowers will generally arrive Tuesday the 18th or Wednesday the 19th of October, and leave Sunday or Monday. We are only requesting that you provide a room, and anything in the way of food is really up to what your comfort level is.

Athletes will not have cars, so houses walking distance to the course or the T (bus or subway) are particularly needed.

If you have a room or spaces and would like to host a rower or two for a few days, please get in touch with Michelle Jaeger via email at [email protected].

Best,

Michelle Jaeger & Anne Buckingham
