#CRIRowStudio Going Strong
 New Mid-Morning Sessions Added

Since we started the #CRIRowStudio in December last year we have had over 250 brand new people come into CRI who have never taken a class before! That is an incredible accomplishment. Normally in the winter we have very few new visitors join us, and these visits to the CRIRrowStudio don't include our current CRI members that have given it a go!

Due to this great success, and on recommendations from some of the members, we are adding mid-morning sessions on Mondays at 9:30am & Wednesdays at 9:00am.

Please go to www.mindbodyonline.com to book a session for yourself and then tell all of your friends to do the same!

The ERG Marathon is Back
Monday, April 18th

Chased from the sidewalk in front of the Newton Wellesley Hospital after the marathon bombing by security, the erg marathon has found a home at CRI. Come try rowing 42,195 meters alone or as a team with whatever number of people you want to participate on your team.

Start about 9AM and hopefully finish by 2PM. Muffins and coffee in the AM and sandwiches for lunch will be included in the fee which will also support CRI.

The participation fee is $25. It is modest so that all rowers can participate including students. In the past student teams have raced each other. Since this is a fundraiser for CRI, contributions beyond $25 are appreciated.

We will stream live the marathon on the big screen in the erg room so that you will not miss seeing the race. It will also inspire you. And you will not need sunscreen. But bring water bottles to be filled on site.

Date: April 18
Time: 9AM at CRI.

If you are interested in joining the fun of an ERG Marathon, please sign up HERE

Corporate Rowing
Volunteers Needed

Volunteers! We need help with Corporate Rowing!

Now that we're back on the water it is time to start signing up to volunteer for one of the best experiences in the boathouse!  Patrick Larcom and Jeff Nelson are bringing in more and more corporate rowing events every day and we need your help to show the world how the Sport of Rowing can change lives!  Our mission is "Rowing For All" and you can help us spread our mission to the business community by helping out with all of our corporate rowing events.  To make things easy, we are going to use one link to SignUp Genius where you will find tabs to sign up for different events.  If you have any questions please email patrick.larcom@communityrowing.org.

7th Annual CBC Invitational Relay Regatta

Saturday, July 16, 2016 - Save the Date!

On behalf of the membership of Cambridge Boat Club, I am writing to invite your club to participate in our Seventh Annual CBC Invitational Relay Regatta to be held on Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at 10AM. Our first Relay Regatta was held in 2009 to celebrate CBC's Centennial and since then, it has developed into a spirited tradition!

This race is a unique opportunity for competing clubs to show the quality and depth of their masters rowing programs. During the race, teams of 20 women and men will race 5 relay legs totaling 21K and approximately 2 hours. Boat classes include eight and four-oared sweep boats, quadruple and double sculls.

Official invitation and details will follow.
