CRIRowstudio in the News
WCVB Channel 5 Chronicle & MeetMeOutside

Following a really great piece last Thursday on Chronicle which featured CRI and #CRIRowStudio, we'll be in the news again this week on another WCVB Channel 5 show.

Filmed back in January on Martin Luther King Day by a crew from Channel 5, the segment featuring CRI will be aired twice tomorrow, February 24th, on the WCVB Channel 5 morning news between 5:00 and 7:00am. The piece will most likely re-air over the weekend as well.

Our Rowstudio Drop-in classes are part of a segment that highlights 'MeetMeOutside' -  a dating app that focuses on unique indoor date ideas.

Dredging of the Sandbar
Work Continues

We are happy to let folks know the exciting news that work to dredge the sandbar at the Faneuil Brook Outfall (the area of the Charles across from the Charles River Motel) has begun. After a brief pause in work, dredging will begin again on Thursday. It is hoped the the work of removing the sandbar will be complete in the next week or so.

The dredging will remove sand (mostly from the road) which has built up over time. Removal of the sand which has created a shoal will lead to improved water quality and navigation in that section of the river. The sand and debris removed from the river will be deposited to special enclosures at the Herter Park parking lot where it will drain. Once dewatered the sand will be trucked away.

Facilities Survey: Please Let Us Know What You Think
Submit by February 26th

Please take this opportunity to share your thoughts about our facilities here at the boathouse. Dave Snowdon would like to collect the information by February 26th.

As individuals and community members we treat the coming of each new year as an opportunity for a clean slate, fresh start, and new prospects. With this new year the CRI facility team is already underway on a number of facility wide organizational renovations. We believe with your input we can collectively create a more enjoyable and efficient boathouse. CRI and the Facility Team encourage you all to take the time to review this survey and help us stay true to our resolution to make The Harry Parker Boathouse truly amazing.
