Allston Brighton Toy Drive
Holiday Cheer for Neighborhood Children
|
CRI will be collecting toys this holiday season to support the Allston Brighton Toy Drive sponsored by State Representative Mike Moran. The toy drive directly benefits local girls and boys in our Allston Brighton neighborhoods. Please consider brightening a child's holiday this year by donating a toy, book, gift card or game.
New, unwrapped gifts for children 12-18 years can be dropped off in the Collection boxes in the lobby by the front desk. We will be collecting gifts all week long. Flyers with gift ideas are posted on the drive boxes.
Thank you!

IceMelter 2015
A Great Event
|
On Sunday, over 50 competitors representing 18 unique programs at CRI took part in the Ice Melter 2015. Several outstanding performances came during the morning's individual events, not the least of which was Bob Lee's blazing fast time of 3:16.3 in the 1000m. This is the fastest American 1000m for an athlete over 70 this year! To view the standings, click here.
The main event, the Inclusion Relay, was full of intense competition with 6 teams competing in 3 heats. Congrats to Zach (BC), Jackie (Elite Para), Theo (HP), and Matt (u26 adaptive) on winning the world's first ever Inclusion Relay. Special thanks to everyone that competed and helped make the event happen; thank you for contributing to the electric atmosphere and bringing the heat!
