CRI Welcomes Andrew Hess
Communitcations Manager

Andrew Hess is one of the newest additions to the team at CRI. Andrew will be in charge of handling internal and external communications between rowers, coaches, and the community. In addition to his recent graduation from Xavier University with his MBA, Andrew brings marketing and communications experience from his time working in education and non-profit fields. While completing his graduate course work, Andrew worked as an assistant coach for the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club. Andrew was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he first learned to row at St. Ignatius high school. One of Andrews passions is coaching, so he is looking forward to contributing to CRI both on and off the water.

CRI Welcomes Matt Rostron
Director of Systems and Growth

Matt Rostron comes to CRI from London Youth Rowing in the UK. He was there for nearly ten years where he established a world-renown program that opened the sports of on water and indoor rowing to those young people that wouldn't normally get the opportunity to do so. LYR regularly worked with over 8,000 young people every year and operated from approx. 11 locations in the Greater London area.

His role of Director of Systems and Growth will enable him to get an overview of current programs and to build participation generally across the board. The initial plan is to expand into the Upper Charles early next year and then to continue to grow the CRI offer and mission of 'Rowing for All' to other locations in and around the Boston area and wider to other communities across the USA.

"After a long time at LYR where we achieved so much, there was only really one place that I could think about moving onto from there, and that was CRI. Its hugely exciting to be here and I cant wait to get started" Matt said.
