WeCanRow Boston is looking for a coxswain to join our dynamic program. Women Enduring Cancer Row (WeCanRow) is a wellness program for women who are breast cancer survivors. The program consists of approximately 35 active members with a range of rowing experience and physical ability. WCR aims to teach and improve rowing skills, build physical strength, and develop teamwork with women who have had similar cancer experiences. Please see the website for more details about the program itself (www.wecanrowboston.org).
We practice on Tuesday evenings from 6-8PM starting April 7th and ending on October 13th. We row out of the Boston University boathouse using a training barge, 8+s, and 4+s. CRI Scullers Information Meeting
Monday, March 30th
|
The annual CRI Scullers Information Meeting for logbook and PBO scullers will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 7PM in the CRI classroom. We'll be covering important information about the wonderful new sculling boats, plans for the coached sessions, guidelines on dock and boathouse etiquette, and more. You'll hear from the new sculling co-captains, our coaches, and from Kane Larin and have an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts. If you can't make the meeting and/or to stay informed about news for CRI logbook and PBO scullers, we encourage you to join Yahoo group CRI_sculling by going to groups.yahoo.com.
In the meantime, here's hoping for lots of warm days with sunshine to melt that now-solid river! And congratulations to all the CRI participants in this past weekend's C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints - you made CRI proud!

Winter Training Extended
Cannot Row Outside Quite Yet...
|
Given the fact that the river is still covered with ice, Term 1 on-the-water programming will not be able to begin next week. Until then, winter training classes will continue.
