After an intensive and highly competitive final day battle with the USAF team for 2nd place and with 2400 hours on March 3 being the final time to record February meters, it would seem at this writing that we have indeed locked down our target 2nd place finish!
Here are the stats - this year vs last year

Some nice emails from fellow CRI Military Challenge rowers....
Email No. 1 - At 0800 Sunday morning, March 1, the first email in my In Box was from the USS Carl Vinson CO asking two questions: (1) Did we hold off the French? and (2) Did we take the USS Lincoln? (Turns out these two CO's are brothers-in-law). My reply was that his very email itself, and then the questions he asked, clearly demonstrated why the Vinson's performance absolutely carried the day, and why the Vinson especially was such a huge help to us. The Vinson is currently launching strikes against ISIS 24x7, and yet they still had time to deliver some knockout punches for us. We can be extremely grateful they signed on to join our team.
Email No. 2 - This morning I got a surprise email from a new CRI military team member this year, one who is also a former rower, and yet in his email he still said "This has changed my life." And then he said he looked "forward to next year and a full month of rowing for CRI"
And that, of course, tells the story of CRI.
Congrats to all our military rowers!!! Go CRI!
