Virtual Team Challenge Update
Got Meters?
|
The Virtual Team Challenge is well underway: About 16 people came to CRI on New Year's Day to erg. Congrats to these hardy athletes, and many thanks to Bill McGowan and to Tracy Brown, Director of Development, for being there to oversee the event on New Year's Day. Best wishes to all for a healthy and happy 2015.
Good news!: there's still time to join until January 15. Go to http://www.concept2.com to create your own logbook or to sign in and log your meters. *Be sure to click the link to opt in to the Challenge* if you have not already done so. Photos Wanted! We'd love a photo of you or you and your friends erging. Please send it to Ruth Morss at rmorss1@gmail.com and include rower(s) name(s) and program - or just program if you prefer. We'll feature it in our next update. Make it a group photo if you'd like, or just you. Standings:
We're #4 currently for on-water clubs, as you can see below, with 1.59 million meters. 56 people have logged meters so far. In our world journey, we've left Boston and are closing in on Chicago, IL. The Cambridge Boat Club is out in front with about 3 million meters. Let's pick it up! Every meter and every rower welcome.
In terms of all clubs (virtual and on-water) we are #13. The top club is a virtual club with over 5 million meters called 'French Indoor Rowers Team'. Erg on!
