| US Para Rowing Trials
Three CRI Crews Qualify!!!

Three crews qualified for the US Para Rowing team at trials on Monday. Andrew Johnson and Stephanie Cox were uncontested at trials in the LTA 2x, and Katelyn Steinke beat out three competitors to win the Womens AS1x.
These athletes will represent the US at the upcoming World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam. The CRI TA 2x of Jaden Thoennes and Callum Borchers also won uncontested, but decided to focus on training and gaining race experience for the year ahead, opting out of the Worlds opportunity this year.

| CRI Head Gardener
Do You Have a Green Thumb?
|
CRI is seeking a Volunteer Head Gardener to work closely with staff and the entire CRI community to make the Harry Parker Boathouse grounds as beautiful as they can be.
Specific tasks include rescuing green areas from the ravages of geese, maintaining the river bank by the boathouse, and improving the condition of the bio-swales by adding wildflowers and other plantings as appropriate.
We anticipate that this would be a weekly commitment through the growing season, and would consist primarily of recruiting and coordinating volunteers to perform regular and seasonal tasks, coordinating closely with Dave Snowdon and other CRI staff. Temporary fencing installation, planting, watering, racking and trimming are the tasks that we hope to accomplish.

The CBC Invitational is coming up, and we would like to field two teams of 10 rowers to participate in this fun team 'up and back' relay style regatta.
