CRI Varsity Girls and Boys hosted PNRA Mercer Junior athletes from Princeton, NJ in a scrimmage last weekend, treating them to hospitality and to some great early-season races. CRI rowers had a very solid showing against a well-drilled Mercer program. The Lighties and V8 showed terrific moxie, fitness and hull speed throughout the three pieces to come away victorious.
The boy's team also fared well winning all of their pieces in a convincing fashion, boding well for the Saratoga Invitational races this coming weekend. Congratulations to those who raced last week, and thank you to those who participating in hosting our New Jersey colleagues! |
