Henley Gold and a Lot of Fun!!
CRI Competitive Youth Summer
Katarina Floyd and Sarah Muse

CRI Competitive Youth Summer Rowers Score Henley Gold and a Lot of Fun

Competitive boys and girls competed among 137 other teams in last week's 131st Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St Catharine's, Ontario, bringing home Henley Gold in the Under 19 Women Pair to win the Tom McGuinness Memorial Trophy.  In that exciting race, pair Katarina Floyd and Sarah Muse took advantage of a late error by their closest competitor to edge out their victory and score gold.

Competition was stiff and deep in the broad array of 35 races in which CRI teams competed, but the CRI teams displayed their usual tenacity, qualifying for numerous semifinals and finals races, with excellent overall times and form.  The Canadian Henley, on Martindale Waterways, medals only first place finishes.

Thank you to regatta sponsor, the Canadian Henley Regatta Joint Comittee, for a week of great racing, and congratulations again to Katarina and Sarah!
