Competitive Women in the News
Globe West, July 4th

Community Rowing and our Women's Competitive Team made the news on July 3rd and 4th.  Pictured on the dock in the early morning light as they prepared for practice, Globe readers are given a glimpse of what our Masters Women's team is all about and why rowing brings so many people to the river and our boathouse.

Check out the following YouTube video to see the practice in action:

Heads Up - Weight Room Etiquette!!
Re-Rack Those Weights After You Lift...

Community Rowing prides itself on 'Rowing for All'. Being a place for all does not stop at the river's edge - it includes all our facilities! Yet, look what has been happening in the weight room.

Can you bench 100 pounds? Good. Now put the weights away when you're done.

Don't leave it to someone else to finish your heavy-lifting workout by leaving heavy plates for the next person to put away. Always re-rack plates and move equipment to where it belongs for the next person who needs to work out in the weight room.

Strength training for all. So put your 100-pound plates away so the rest of us can workout.

No more leaving heavy plates on the machines for others to move!
We are a boathouse for all!
Let's use it that way!
